Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

The City of North Port and Sarasota County will be hosting the annual Hazardous Household Waste Collection Event on Saturday, March 12, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will be hosted at City Hall.

 

The event will be for North Port residents only - proof of residency may be requested - and only residential hazardous waste will be collected. No commercial or other organizational waste will be collected at this event.

 

This event is for North Port residential waste only. Proof of residency may be requested before any waste is accepted. Please no commercial or other organizational waste. Sarasota County reserves the right to limit the amount of waste accepted at any collection event.

 

Items Accepted:

·      Pool chemicals

·      Pesticides

·      Medications

Not Accepted:

·      Garbage

·      Appliances
