Hope Walk
Join us for the launch of the West Allis Hope Walk on Friday, May 31 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Liberty Heights Park (1540 S. 62nd St.). Let's come together to boost mental and behavioral health within our community! The West Allis Hope Walk offers an uplifting path to connect with nature, practice mindfulness, and promote positive mental health habits.
The main highlight of this event is the introduction of Mental Health Tip signs placed throughout seven of our City parks. These signs aim to raise awareness about mental health and provide hope to all who visit the parks. Additional highlights include:
- Vendor tables with mental/behavioral health resources and giveaways.
- Free Pete's Popsicles.
- Free socks from Pair of Thieves featuring the words Never Alone and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline number.
- Community canvas painting.
- Keychains, stickers and more!
