The Purpose and Duties of the Beach Business Improvement District Advisory Committee
1. To make recommendations regarding activities within and for the benefit of commercial property owners within the beach business improvement district.
The Beach Business Improvement District Advisory Committee shall have eleven (11) members consisting of ten (10) of the ten highest assessed property owners or a representative of such assessed property owners, if the property owner is an entity and not an individual, and one member recommended by and from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Beach Council. Property owners that are entities and not individuals may elect to designate an alternate representative, and such alternate representative shall also be appointed by the City Commission.
